- Chief Zee’s tomahawk is missing, which is very sad. Chris Cooley has offered a signed jersey as a reward, which is less sad.
- The consensus of ESPN’s pundits is that the Redskins are going to finish fourth in the division. Jeremy Green was the lone dissenter, with the team going second. John Clayton appears to have no understanding of the NFL Playoff system, as he has the team finishing fourth in the division but says “Jim Zorn is winning over the Redskins with his play calls. Throw in Jason Taylor and an improving Jason Campbell, and the Redskins could be in the playoff mix.” That is a mathematical impossibility.
- Seeing former Redskins RB Ricky Ervins at the luncheon today made me wonder what he’s up to know. Now I know.

John Clayton always has been and always will be an idiot.
Per Chris Cooley’s blog in the comment’s area, the tomahawk has been returned
Ross Tucker’s article was tough to read. I can imagine how agonizing that would be. And the utter disappointment of those guys who get cut and then keep staying in shape, believing they’ll get a call soon.
Wow, Ross Tucker’s column was excellent. It must be excruciating to sit around with hopes of someone making the call. Makes you put things in perspective about how many millions of dollars these guys make but can be taken away instantly because of injury, and that lucky guy could be you one day making the cut. Not all football players make the big bucks and there could be so many more that just never get the chance to prove themselves….
